Feeding the eGovernment beast :)
Late last week I stumbled across the Research e-Labs blog, that comprises part of the larger eGovernment efforts. They are currently consulting on the new eGovernment feed standard. They are proposing a move to Atom 1.0 as it appears to provide better mechanisms for semantically marking up the information contained in the feed. This is an exciting proposition, especially if they expand the defined tags to support reports and datasources – this is on top of the already defined news, jobs, consultation and events.
